The Edisco data base is at a testing stage. the search results might contain mistakes.Edisco is an electronic data base whose aim i sto carry out a census of books for the school and the education published in Italy between the 19th century and today. The final aim is to construct a catalogue of scholastic and pedagogical books edited in our peninsula between the XIX and the XX century, procuring the material both in libraries and antiques and modern repertories. At the moment Edisco counts almost 50.000 records, procured in differnt bibliographic repertories(CLIO, CUBI, SBN, Stella catalogue). The suggestion of thousands of books have been integrated with analysis in the library. In addition to the physical description of the manual, edisco wants t ogive directions about the content of the book through the re-edition and by mentioning the subject dealt with, the kind of school and the class it was directed to and its editorial fortune. Edisco is a project that leads to some italian universities(Turin, Macerata, Udine, Florence, Bologna, Genova, L’Aquila, Molise), It enjoys also the collaboration of researchers located in the whole home terrirory. |
